High interest stations

Again we did our high interest stations.  We still did our parachutes.  This time we we could use what materials we wanted.  Last time Max and I did a successful run but this time it was a disaster!!!  Our egg Bill was in a floating jail and was not very comfortable!  Bill had a terrible run.  Max and I used skewers, a cup, a plastic bag, some string and two ballons.  We tried it and... splat!  The egg had gone everywhere, the yolk eventually got out and that was the end of Bill!

Parachuting

For our high interest station I did parachuting with Katie.  Max and I chose denim and started to make our parachute.  We were testing different materials.  Max was my partner.  We started of with nothing and then we got the hang of it. Max was building and I was getting all the materials.  Finally we were testing our parachutes.  Our egg was called billy and he was riding the crusader of death.  Billy did a good run and survived the test!!!

Comic life

For biology we did our Comic life to finish our biology.  We put  our most disgusting photos on our Comic life.  I put on my Comic life, a flies wing, my eye, inside my ear, a flies body and a scab from my leg.  My favourite was the photo from up my ear because it was so disgusting that I laugh my hardest at it!  Heres the Comic life. : ) : )

Biology

Today at Enrich we did our new high interest stations.  This time there was biology, art and chemistry.  This time I picked biology.  We used dinoscopes and a computer.  We took some disgusting photos like our lips, flies and our skin.  It was so fun that people were laughing and laughing!

Art

Hi, its me again.  Again I'm talking about art and how we tried to copy Claud Monet.  This time we put a pink sunset background and we did our river downward instead of upwards.  It is supposed to be a rough drawing.  I did a dark blue and light blue river, dark lillie pads and white flowers.  It looked cool when it was finished and the others looked cool when they were finished to.  I had a fantastic time doing it.  Hope you liked it!`

Technology challenge

Today Eddie, Samantha and I had to design our own launcher to launch a shuttlecock.  We used a cup, ice block sticks, cardboard, rubber bands and a shuttlecock.  We started of with cardboard and a shuttlecock and then we came out with a design of a cup launching the shuttlecock and after that I came up with the design.  We are judging the launchers at 2:00 to see the best one.  I think that its going to be a close one. :) :)

Art Impressionism

Today I did art impressionism of Claude Monet. We had to paint a picture of a setting that had Lily pads in it.  We watched a video clip of how to paint like Claude Monet and his painting of his Lily pads.  We used white, blue, red, brown and yellow.  I did a light and dark blue river, spring Lily pads and white flowers on top.  I picked out of science,art or maths.  I liked how I did my picture of the river.  Here's a picture of mine and Claude Monet.
